A recent graduate from Film Arts Directing at Langara College, Olha is a Ukrainian director and writer with experience working as a producer, director and writer in commercials, social and documentary projects, and films. Her work experience spans Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Canada. She fled from Kyiv when Russia invaded and made her way to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with her pug Roger.
Dan is a retired entrepreneur. One of the early Web veterans, he founded fine.com, the first company to be named a “dot com” in 1994. He then co-founded Bot, Inc. in 2000 and received a patent for intelligent software agents and the platform to build and deploy bots securely using AI. Dan received several awards including Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Small Business Person of the Year Award by SBA. For more than a decade, Dan and his dog, Kal-El are a therapy team visiting senior homes, libraries, schools and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. In 2022, he co-founded Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund to help sterilize, vaccinate and microchip dogs and cats impacted by the war.
Christopher has worked in the audio post-production industry in Vancouver for 25 years. As an ADR mixer and dialogue editor for numerous television series, feature films, MOWs and animated programs. He has worked alongside some of the world’s most famous actors and filmmakers and for some of the largest motion picture studios and television companies in the world. His passion is offering complete sound design services for smaller-scale independent films, shorts and documentaries from his home studio on the Sunshine Coast, BC, Canada.
Bryce is a devoted editor, director, writer, and producer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. After graduating from Langara College Film Arts in 2015 and 2017, he broke his way into the industry as a freelance editor – starting on short films, demo reels and mockumentaries, before moving his way up to feature film edits. With only a few years as an editor behind him, he managed to snag an award for best editing at The Hollywood International Film Festival.
Piotr Nowotnik started composing at the age of 12 under the mentorship of Polish composer – Józef Samelczak. Piotr has composed music for theatre, film, and games, drawing from his diverse experience as collaborating artist, composer, and sound designer. He graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in Music Composition and finished his Master’s degree at the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Conservatory of Music. Currently, Piotr’s works are performed in China, France, Australia and the USA. Piotr continuously engages in collaboration with artists from a variety of genres and disciplines: from Musique Concrete production for Butoh dance theatre in Paris, through his involvement in a live music scene in Australia, Europe and the USA.
Kyrylo Shupyk
Kyrylo is studying veterinary medicine and is an accomplished cinematographer. He lives in Kyiv, Ukraine and takes his camera to the frontlines of Ukraine while assisting in animal rescue and treatment.
Dmytro Lytvynenko
Dmytro is a talented cinematographer from Kyiv, Ukraine. He produces music videos and works with a number of charities helping the war effort.
Nathan Lee
Nathan is an affiliate member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers. His first music video premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022.
Zach Anders
Zach is an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist from the Pacific Northwest. He is a foreign correspondent who covered war time coverage in Ukraine, the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, and the Israeli conflict in Gaza.
Viktor Serbin
Viktor is a filmmaker and photographer in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He attended the Ukrainian Film School and the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts.
Veronika is a Ukrainian illustrator and designer based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She has a BFA in Fine Arts from Publishing and Printing Institute NTUU “KPI.” She has been recognized by several industry awards, including the StartAward contest for ‘The Jungle Book’ in 2017 and a gold medal for ‘Santa’s Shooting Star’ Christmas novel at Mom’s Choice the same year.
Tim has led GIRVIN | Strategic Branding & Design for 35 years of global work in all media to clients ranging from Nintendo and Shiseido, to Microsoft and Apple, Paramount Studios to Wynn Resorts. Tim created the logo for Lord of the Rings and over a thousand other movies.
